Memberships & Accreditations

We are members of the Property Care Association which is a key indicator of quality within the property preservation industry. Further information about why choosing a company who is a member of the Property Care Association is important, can be found below.  Other memberships include the Basement Waterproofing Association, the Structural Repair Association and the Radon Council.

We hold industry accreditations with CHAS, Constructionline, SMAS Worksafe Contractor and Safecontractor.

We are proud to have been awarded ISO 9001: 2008 Certification. This is an internationally recognised standard, which is awarded to those companies that can successfully demonstrate that the way in which they operate provides the very best in service and quality to customers.

Qualified and Experienced

We have a highly qualified, experienced and professional team of surveyors, contract managers, in-house operatives and administration support who together have a proven track record in all aspects of the industry.

Our damp and timber surveyors are CSRT qualified and our waterproofing surveyors are CSSW qualified as well as being on the Property Care Association Waterproofing Specialist Design Register.  We also have a team of experienced structural remedial surveyors and the qualifications also extend to our contracts team members of which are CSRT qualified and hold CITB Site Supervision.

The qualifications work in combination with industry experience and ongoing training both internally through a robust training and induction programme for all employees as well as external training with our manufacturing supply partners. This approach ensures we stay up to date with all the latest materials and their methods of application.

Guarantees

Our work is guaranteed through our own ProTen Company Guarantees.  We offer further peace of mind via our third-party Guarantee Protection Insurance Scheme. We are also able to offer product warranties and access to schemes such as TrustMark.

Approved Contractors

We are approved contractors with major suppliers including Delta, Triton, Helifix, Wykamol, Flexcrete and SIKA.

Health & Safety

We ensure compliance to all industry health, safety, environmental and welfare requirements and work to continually retain good health and safety standards throughout our organisation.  We are overseen by Natwest Mentor and our internal Health & Safety Advisor is NEBOSH accredited.

Insurances

We have all relevant insurances in place and kept up to date so we can operate safe in the knowledge that should the worse happen we can take care of the situation. Copies of our Public Liability, Employee Liability, Professional Indemnity and Design Liability Insurances are all available on request.

What does CSRT and CSSW mean?

The PCA requires that surveyors providing guidance on damp proofing, timber treatments and below ground waterproofing must demonstrate their competence by gaining certain qualifications.

CSRT Qualification – Certificated Surveyor in Remedial Treatments

This covers damp, condensation, timber and legal and health & safety considerations and can only be achieved through an exam and practical evidence of experience and knowledge.

CSSW Qualification – Certificated Surveyor in Structural Waterproofing

This qualification covers waterproofing and damp proofing systems that are applied below ground, anticipated defects, methods of repair, design philosophy and building construction.
