Providing our clients with the confidence they are working with a company they can trust to do things properly, is important to us.
We demonstrate this and the quality of our work through the memberships and accreditations we hold, the qualifications and experience of our teams, a sound working practice and the testimonials we receive. To achieve these means our working practices have been vetted and approved to a level that demonstrates good trading practices, good customer service and technical competence.
We are members of the Property Care Association which is a key indicator of quality within the property preservation industry. I was incredibly impressed with everyone involved in this process. From first talking to you, to the completion of the work. Everyone was very professional and the communication with me throughout was brilliant. It made what was a very daunting problem into a pleasant experience. So a massive thank you.
Companies that are members of the Property Care Association have had to demonstrate high standards of professionalism and expertise to meet and maintain robust membership criteria. These criteria cover aspects of all our services including professional qualifications, technical competence, service delivery and financial stability.
Members are audited regularly to ensure standards are being maintained. This gives consumers confidence that PCA members are robust and reliable companies that are perfectly equipped to provide them with property care services.
Being a member also gives clients access to the government’s TrustMark scheme.
The PCA requires that surveyors providing guidance on damp proofing, timber treatments and below ground waterproofing must demonstrate their competence by gaining certain qualifications.
CSRT Qualification – Certificated Surveyor in Remedial Treatments
This covers damp, condensation, timber and legal and health & safety considerations and can only be achieved through an exam and practical evidence of experience and knowledge.
CSSW Qualification – Certificated Surveyor in Structural Waterproofing
This qualification covers waterproofing and damp proofing systems that are applied below ground, anticipated defects, methods of repair, design philosophy and building construction.
